From the album The Servant King
By Hathor Sandalphon · made with ACE-Step (Apache-2.0) · gospel choir · 1:35
Sound: gospel choir, hammond organ, piano, bass, drums, call and response, 4/4, 92 bpm, key of F, warm, rousing, humble
The parts
Every part of this song on its own — to remix it, sing over it, or learn it. Made with Demucs (MIT) on our own servers.
Lyrics
[verse]
He took a towel and he knelt on the floor
And he washed the feet of the men who would run
And the one who would sell him sat in the room
And he washed his feet like he washed everyone
[chorus]
Not to be served but to serve
That is the whole of the throne
The greatest among you, let him be the least
And carry the weight alone
[verse]
The sons of thunder asked for the right
To sit at his left and his right hand side
He said you don't know what you're asking for
It's a cup, not a chair, and a road, not a ride
[chorus]
Not to be served but to serve
That is the whole of the throne
The greatest among you, let him be the least
And carry the weight alone
